Coffee may be a necessity for many but these handmade cups hope to inject a sense of joyful surprise into the daily ritual. There are six different coffee cup characters, almost like a happy meal toy for caffeine addicted adults.

Sonya Gee is a Sydney based artist and journalist. She's behind the Matchbox Project, where small gifts hidden inside matchboxes are left somewhere each week for strangers to find (http://blurty.com/users/matchboxproject). Tony Curran

Is a Sydney based artist concerned with issues of perception research and permeability into contemporary art. By articulating three-dimensional space Tony intends to utilize perceptual abilities that are otherwise neglected in the visual arts.

In 2006 Tony graduated with a Bachelor of Science, major in Psychology, and went on to pursue a career in the visual arts. He has contributed to zines, films, sound works and art exhibitions.

Late 2007 was his first appearance in a gallery. Selected as a finalist for Somedays' Gallery in Sydney's Surry Hills which was his first group show.

Early 2008 saw him on a plane to Edinburgh University to work with a studio in conjunction with the British Council where his paintings and soundscapes appeared in a group exhibition after two weeks to-ing and fro-ing between Scotland's Central Belt.

On May 14 he held his first solo show at 'The Wall' – an art space in Sydney's Kings Cross. In June 2008 completed his Masters in Art specialising in Drawing and Sound Design and soon after Uni was selected for exhibition in the Mosman art prize only to go on to do a number of group shows around Sydney's inner city.

He's currently working on a number of projects from sound installations, art festivals, and a number of shows in group exhibitions. His work can be followed on his blog - www.tonycurran.blogspot.com.
